Dominika Kulczyk (born 30 July 1977 in Poznań, Poland) is a Polish sinologist, entrepreneur, investor, philanthropist, and reporter. Founder and President of the Kulczyk Foundation,^[1] chair of a Supervisory Board of Kulczyk Holding, chair of a Supervisory Board of Polenergia S.A.,^[2] co-founder of the Values Consulting Group.^[3] Author of a series of multiply-awarded reportages, the “Domino Effect”.^[4] Daughter of Grażyna Kulczyk and Jan Kulczyk.

Education

Dominika Kulczyk graduated from the Karol Marcinkowski Secondary School in Poznań. She is a graduate in Sinology from the Department of Oriental Studies, and in Political Sciences from the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.^[5] Between 1999-2000, she attended a course on Mandarin Chinese at two Chinese universities: at Huadong Shifan University and at Peking University. After her studies, she continued her education at the London Institute, and she completed a course on strategic philanthropy organized by the Rockefeller Foundation.^[6]

Career

Dominika Kulczyk is a founder and President of the Kulczyk Foundation, a philanthropic organization cooperating with Polish and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

In 2006, together with Jacek Santorski, she founded the Values Consulting Group, which specializes in trainings on the psychology of business and is involved in the project of the Academy of Leadership Psychology, co-organized by the Warsaw University of Technology, whose fundamental part is a training program for middle and senior managers.^[7]

Between 2010-2017, Dominika Kulczyk was the President of the Polish branch of Green Cross International. Green Cross Poland was a platform for the dialogue between business, public administration, non-governmental organizations, and research centers.^[8] In June 2013, she joined the Supervisory Board of Kulczyk Investments. In the holding company established by her father, Dominika Kulczyk was responsible for activities within the scope of corporate social responsibility (CSR and CSI) as well as international communication. Until June 2018, she was the Chair of Kulczyk Investments’ Supervisory Board.

Between 2013-2016, she was the Vice-President of Polish Olympic Committee, and is currently an adviser of the PKO's President.^[9] In the analytical center THINKTANK, she is an expert on communication and intercultural relations, strategic philanthropy, and corporate social responsibility.^[10]

In July 2018 she became a strategic investor and the majority shareholder of Polenergia S.A., she also became the chair of its Supervisory Board.^[11]

On 26 September 2018, she was awarded the Order of the Smile for her distinguished contribution to supporting children. Dominika Kulczyk is the 1025th person who has received this distinction.

Family

She is the daughter of Grażyna Kulczyk and Jan Kulczyk, sister of Sebastian Kulczyk.^[12]
