She has been the Executive Director of the National Gallery of Zimbabwe[1] since 2004. BackgroundBorn in the United Kingdom to Jamaican parents, her passion for art existed long before she became an administrator or a painter, however her parents were against it seeing her opt for a career in Education as an art teacher. Doreen is married to Dr Misheck Sibanda.[2] CareerDoreen's work has been exhibited in a number of different countries such as the Czech Republic, Russia and Zimbabwe.
