3DJuegos is a Spanish website specialised in videogames. Its contents are structured according to the different existing platforms and among them there are game recommendations, game industry news, game tips and tricks, videogames walkthroughs or interviews. They also have channels in different streaming platforms like Youtube and Mixer. History3DJuegos was founded in Zaragoza (Spain) in June 2005 by Enrique Morera, Daniel Mauro and Enrique García, ex videogame developers of Efecto Caos[1], Chaos Effect and Xpiral. It originally started as a personal computer magazine and from April 2006 it also began to focus on console games (PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo). It currently covers any kind of content which is related to videogames and it offers live coverage of international fairs like the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) or Gamescom. In 2009 the user community started through forums created by its users, holding discussions on current topics, technology, competitions or humour. This opening to the community was one of 3DJuegos main innovations, and it included some uncommon features at the time, like game tracking at the user’s personal area, quick replies, quotes or mentions and messaging.[2] It is one of the most consulted magazines of the game industry together with Vandal, Hobbyconsolas, Eurogamer and Meristation. From 2010 it has become one of the most visited videogame websites in Spain, according to OJD data it holds over 3.8 million single users.[3] InternationalisationIn 2017 3DJuegos became a member of the international group Webedia, which gathers media related to leisure and entertainment worldwide like Sensacine, Jeuxvideo or Allociné.[4] At the end of this year 3DJuegos opened a branch in Mexico City with an editorial team dedicated to creating specific contents for Mexico, complementing this way its offer in Latin America.
