Daniel Isaiah Lee, currently known by his stage name Able, is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, music producer, recording artist, and entrepreneur from Erie, Pennsylvania. Able has released two Albums, an EP, three Mixtapes, and several singles since 2014. The rapper can be lyrically heard in multiple genres of music including Hip Hop, Rap, Christian Hip Hop, and gospel. Able is currently the CEO and organizational founder of his independent record label Mercy Time Records which he started in 2014. Lee Jr. Able grew up in a rough neighborhood where he was surrounded by some violence and drug selling. Able had a close relationship with both his mother and father growing up even though his parents separated after he was born. Able's father is a deacon in the C.O.G.I.C. and Able's mother is an evangelist and author. The rapper grew up on Hip Hop music and was influenced by rappers Jay-Z, Timbaland, Dr. Dre, and Eminem. Able showed and interest in music and when he was eleven years-old his mother bought him a two-track keyboard. Able composed beats on the keyboard and let his friends hear them who were rappers. Able started selling his beats to friends and rappers around the community. When Able was in high school his mother moved them to another city in Pennsylvania. He attended Wilson Sr. High school in West Lawn, Pa where he made some friends from Brooklyn, New York that were rappers. Able and his friends would freestyle for hours after school and that is when Able learned how to rap and freestyle. He went on to do his senior project on producing music and building a music career, while demonstrating how to compose instrumentals in front of the other students. Able passed his senior project with an A-plus then graduated high school and attended college for Computer Programming and Information Technology. Career2014 - The Best Is Yet To ComeAble released his first free Mixtape in the Christian Rap genre and titled it "The Best Is Yet To Come." Able produced every track and re-sampled a Ce Ce Winans song on his track "Stand Up" which was dedicated to his son. The Mixtape was received well received by fans and hit international countries being downloaded by fans in more than ten countries. 2015 - Two Mixtapes, EP, Debut Album, and SingleIn 2015 Able had multiple music releases consisting of an Album, two Mxtapes, a Single and Ep. The two mixtapes "In The World But Not Of It" volume one and two were released shortly before Able's debut album "My Testimony" and single "S.W.A.G. which was re-released in 2018. The single was in anticpation of the Ep S.A.V.E.D. which was released the following year in 2016. Able also released a free Ep in 2015 titled "End Times" while fans waited for his debut album to come out. Able released his debut album "My Testimony" which was received well by fans and the critically acclaimed album sold in more than fifteen different countries. 2016 - S.A.V.E.D. the EP and King of KingsKing of Kings was released in 2016 and was heavily downloaded and was a track where Able addressed fake rappers in the music industry. 2017 - Modern Spiritual WarfareThe album "Modern Spiritual Warfare" is the second full-length album Able has released. 2018 - Field of DreamsField of Dreams is a single released in 2018 with a featured appearance from Loso. The track is produced by Ray the Baker who is a music producer from Richmond, Virginia and founder of Sound H productions. Personal LifeAble attends church regularly every Sunday and currently resides in Pennsylvania with his wife and four children.
