Adam Platt is the chief restaurant critic at New York Magazine.[1] He has held the position since 2002, when he replaced longtime food reviewer Gael Greene.[2] He won the James Beard Foundation Award for Restaurant Reviews in 2010,[3] and has appeared on programs including FOX's MasterChef[4] CBS This Morning,[5] Top Chef Canada, [6] and many more. During the course of his nearly 25 years in the magazine business, Platt has written for a variety of publications including The New Yorker (where he was a writer for "Talk of the Town,")[7] The New York Observer (where he was a columnist),[8] Esquire, and Condé Nast Traveler.[9] Adam is a graduate of the American School in Japan (High School), the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, and the Columbia School of Journalism.
