Ahmed, Inductee in the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame in 2013Dr Ahmed was inducted into the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame for his pioneering work in integrated circuit design and worldwide use of the Ground Fault Interruptor. Educated at Cambridge University, Marconi College, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and Seton hall University, Dr Ahmed had a long and distinguished career as a professional engineer and a patent attorney. He held 79 US patents and numerous overseas patents mostly assigned to RCA. He was the recipient of 3 RCA Awards for his contributions to science.
