| 释义 | Aldo Salvent was born May 7, 1981 in La Habana, Cuba. He is a jazz saxophonist, professor and composer. Aldo holds a master’s degree in Saxophone Performance from Florida International University (FIU) which he earned under the supervision of professor Gary Campbell a very recognized saxofonist and composer in the United States. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from both the National University of Costa Rica and the Amadeo Roldan Conservatory in La Habana, Cuba. Also is currently working on his doctorate degree from the Frost School of Music at University of Miami. In 2009 he became the first Mauriat endorsed artist in Central America. He is also a Gonzalez Reeds Performing Artist. 2014 he recorded his first solo album “Da Capo” on Dazzle Recordings Label in Denver-Colorado which received positive reviews The CD was officially released in January 2015.
