Alexandra Boos has had many accomplishments throughout the course of her life, advocating for women’s empowerment through fashion and entertainment. Her accomplishments are both in and behind the scenes; from becoming one of the highest billing models in the plus decision at Ford’s modeling agency, to working as a marketing and creative director of a top plus fashion magazine. Alexandra Boos focused on fashion beginning in college. She graduated the University of Michigan in 1989 with a Bachelor’s in Arts and immediately began her work. The same year, she became a writer at Lioness Media. She also helped top designer lines, such as Liz Calbourne and Tommy Hilfiger, as a fashion consultant. Beginning in the 2000s, Boos focused more on campaigning and encouraging women. She becomes an alumni advisor for the Kappa Kappa Gamma, a women's fraternity in the University of Michigan. In 2010, Boos founded and was the first CEO of the Luminous Foundation, a non profit organization focusing on enabling women and youth in entertainment. She also was a founding member of the All 4 One Alliance. Both organizations help women in their recovery from breast cancer. They raise funds to support women in need as well as help women recover with dignity.

Her focal point in 2016 was on the Contributor Curvy and Confident organization, which shared stories about how women deal with social and media pressure, as well as the hope in bringing about change in attitude and acceptance. She presently owns and operates Undeland Management, a public relations and talent management firm.
