}}Alex Wondergem is a Ghanaian-Dutch hip-hop artist, filmmaker, and entrepreneur based in Nungua, Ghana.[1] [2]. He is also the founder of CLOVE, a West-African lifestyle brand that severs as the voice of the hybrids. [3]

Early life and career beginnings

Alex attended the Lycée Français d'Accra and his last 3 years of high school at the Lincoln Community School. At the age of 15 Alex began drumming and joined his high school band Tone Rush [4]. In 2012 studied Film and Television at London College of Communication and picked up beat making after experimenting with Ableton Live but switch to Fl Studio in 2015 after a music session with azonto pioneer and legend Nshona Muzik[5]. Alex emerged in the Ghana music scene as producer with the release of his collaboration project 'Buying Our Freedom' with Eli A Free followed by his debut mixtape OFF THE DOME [6] [7]

Documentaries

Alex in collaboration with Adu Lalouschek have been producing a series of of short documentaries "In The Life" which focused on African stories in Ghana.[8] [9]

From November 2016 till October 2017, Alex released monthly beat tapes consecutively for a year. A total of 12 beat tapes and 92 beats.
