Ali grew up in a scientific family, in which art and music weren't their major interests. However, they noticed Ali's passion to music and registered him for piano lessons since the age of 6. His father, dr. Imad Asaad is a general surgeon and his mother Furat Hwaijah is a school teacher. Later in his life, Ali developed a passion for Classical guitar and started having private lessons. He was unhappily doing that in an attempt to conform to the society's norms, but this struggle didn't last for a long time. His talent refused to stay hidden since Music for Ali wasn't just a hobby or something he is interested in, it was rather his addiction, his real love that he is ready to sacrifice everything for it. He wanted to study music academically and for that he contacted Syrian pianist and composer Gaswan Zerikly and had lessons with him in Lattakia and Damascus.

In 2010, Ali left Syria to follow his dream and studied with professor Ahmet Kanneci in Ankara State Conservatory – classical guitar department, Hacettepe University, Ankara. After studying Classical guitar for three years in Ankara, he went for an internship in Paganini Conservatorio in Genoa, Italy to write his own composition for classical guitar and string quartet.
