She is a founding member of Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, has performed on stage on Broadway and around the world, and has appeared on and produced the television show Lishy Lou and Lucky Too.[1] MusicGaddis provides vocals and percussion for the bi-lingual children's "kindie rock"[2] group Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band.[3] Her husband is bandmate Lucky Diaz. As Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, together they won a Latin GRAMMY in 2013[4] becoming the only Americans to win this award.[5] Gaddis suggested they create a family-style band after a recording of a song Diaz wrote for his daughter won them an invitation to play at a children's show.[6] The couple's younger daughter, Indiana Maven, was inspiration for their album Buenos Diaz and can be heard on some of the tracks. [7] ActingShe was awarded an Emmy for her performance in Lishy Lou and Lucky Too.[8] Gaddis has also appeared in television shows including Mad Men, House, and Scrubs.[9] She has performed live on stage on Broadway and across the world in countries like Australia and China.[10] ComedyGaddis has performed stand up comedy routines at The New York Comedy Club and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles[11] and opened for acts including Sarah Silverman, Drew Carey, and Ray Romano.[12] WritingShe has edited six collections of humorous monologues.[13] The first collection is for women and was borne out of a series of live shows she co-produced. The others contain monologues for men, teens, and kids.[14] There is also one for LGBT performers which are written by LGBT comedians and allies with writing credits including Second City, Comedy Central, and the Onion.[15] Each book contains more than 60 monologues.[16] EducationGaddis studied Performance Studies at University of Sydney in Australia and has a double major in Drama and Political Science from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University[17] where she earned her BFA.[18] References1. ^{{Citation|title=Lishy Lou and Lucky Too|url=https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3295796/|access-date=2018-10-27}} 2. ^{{Cite news|url=https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/books/2012/09/14/771cab84-f2de-11e1-a612-3cfc842a6d89_story.html |access-date=2019-02-20}} 3. ^{{Cite news|url=http://kidindependent.com/2011/01/interview-lucky-diaz-and-the-family-jam-band/|title=Interview – Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band|publisher=KID independent - handmade for kids|access-date=2018-10-27}} 4. ^{{Cite news|url=https://www.npr.org/2014/01/16/263123734/troubadour-radio-jam-band-releases-a-new-album-for-kids|title=Troubadour Radio: 'Jam Band' Releases A New Album For Kids|publisher=NPR |access-date=2018-10-27}} 5. ^{{Cite news|url=https://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/04/arts/spare-times-for-children-for-july-4-10.html|title=Spare Times for Children for July 4-10|access-date=2018-11-02}} 6. ^{{Cite news|url=http://www.news-gazette.com/arts-entertainment/local/2016-02-12/latin-grammy-winners-childrens-music-coming-krannert-saturday.ht|title=Latin Grammy winners for children's music coming to Krannert on Saturday|access-date=2018-11-02}} 7. ^{{Cite news|url=https://www.broadwayworld.com/bwwmusic/article/The-Lucky-Band-Releases-a-New-Album-of-Bilingual-Songs-for-All-Ages-BUENOS-DIAZ-45-20190220 |access-date=2019-02-21}} 8. ^{{Cite news|url=https://www.recordnet.com/entertainmentlife/20170406/sauro-lucky-diaz-family-jam-band-bring-award-winning-kindie-sound-home|title=Sauro: Lucky Diaz, Family Jam Band bring award-winning 'kindie' sound home|last=Sauro|first=Tony|publisher=recordnet.com|access-date=2018-10-27}} 9. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1922509/|title=Alisha Gaddis|publisher=IMDb|access-date=2018-10-27}} 10. ^{{Cite web|url=https://iwantherjob.com/leading-ladies/alisha-gaddis/|title=Alisha Gaddis - I Want Her Job|publisher=iwantherjob.com|access-date=2018-10-27|date=2011-10-26}} 11. ^{{Cite web|url=http://www.freaksugar.com/lgbtq-comedic-monologues-that-are-actually-funny-interview/|title=Creators Behind LGBTQ Comedic Monologues That Are Actually Funny Speak with Us - Freaksugar|publisher=www.freaksugar.com|access-date=2018-10-27|date=2016-10-20}} 12. ^{{Cite web|url=https://iwantherjob.com/iwhj-the-podcast/alisha-gaddis-2/|title=I Want Her Job The Podcast: Meet Alisha Gaddis - I Want Her Job|publisher=iwantherjob.com|access-date=2018-10-27|date=2016-01-15}} 13. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.halleonard.com/search/search.action?_c&subsiteid=1&keywords=alisha+gaddis&x=0&y=0|title=Hal Leonard Online|publisher=www.halleonard.com|access-date=2018-10-27}} 14. ^{{Cite news|url=https://www.backstage.com/magazine/article/funny-lady-hilarious-monologue-books-9363/|title=1 Funny Lady, 6 Hilarious Monologue Books|date=2015-04-13|access-date=2018-11-02}} 15. ^{{Cite news|url=https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/LGBTQ-COMEDIC-MONOLOGUES-THAT-ARE-ACTUALLY-FUNNY-Now-Available-20160817|title=LGBTQ Comedic Monologues That Are Actually Funny Now Available!|last=Desk|first=BWW News|publisher=BroadwayWorld.com|access-date=2018-11-02}} 16. ^{{Cite news|url=https://www.backstage.com/magazine/article/funny-lady-hilarious-monologue-books-9363/|title=1 Funny Lady, 6 Hilarious Monologue Books|date=2015-04-13|access-date=2018-11-02}} 17. ^{{Cite web|url=https://iwantherjob.com/leading-ladies/alisha-gaddis/|title=Alisha Gaddis - I Want Her Job|publisher=iwantherjob.com|access-date=2018-10-27|date=2011-10-26}} 18. ^{{Cite web|url=http://www.rivercityattractions.com/lucky-diaz-hits-the-musical-note-on-the-head/|title=Lucky Díaz Hits the Musical Note on the Head {{!}} River City Atttractions|publisher=www.rivercityattractions.com|access-date=2018-11-02}} External Links
