Alison Schofield is still this day receiving international acclaim for her recently published work on the Dead Sea Scrolls, From Qumran to the Yahad which is a New Paradigm of Textual Development for The Community Rule (EJ Brill, 2008). She is also co-editing a collection of essays on the Bible, Dead Sea Scrolls and early Judaism in the honor of her adviser.[2] EducationDr. Schofield obtained a doctorate in the field of Judaism in Antiquity. She also obtained her master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in Near Eastern Studies, Northwest Semitic languages, and Hebrew Bible. She also had interest including the religious and cultural influences of ancient Israel, Egypt and Babylonia.
