Banford has produced abstract paintings as well as Digital art, installations and electronic music productions, he currently lives and works between London, Hong Kong and China. His art follows the concept of constant creative evolution, identifying the boundaries between consciousness and reality his creations capture movements, emotions, portraits and, figures revealing an inseparable relationship between dimension and space, this conceptual approach produces a unique multi-layered texturized artworks. Allan Banford artworks respond directly to the surrounding environment of everyday experiences and visual representations. Often these framed instances go unnoticed at glance but they come alive by his laceration technique, deconstructing the subject to the extent that the meaning is shapeshifted, creating an abstract interpretation, challenging perception and perspective, completed by his rules and omissions, acceptance and refusals. The abstract conceptualization and blended media of Allan Banford art have been portrayed as “Intriguing yet luxury elevating“. He works with a wide variety of mediums, creating art series under the conviction that they are manifestations of many skilled specialists but the assorted accumulations anyway are the endeavors of only one. Music careerAllan Banford music interest began from genres such as punk, ska and grunge. After discovering the electronic scene he quickly realized the great potential between sound and technology. Starting as DJ in the late 90's alongside renowned artists like Carl Cox, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman among others, hi set up his recording studio in Horsham, West_Sussex, creating a very innovative underground productions. His first recognition as a producer came from the EP Essential Elements published by the Swedish label SLS Records, supported by Jeff Mills in his first DVD "The Exhibitionist", this publication immediately attracted the attention of many well-established labels, such as Intec Records of Carl Cox publishing his EP Best of British which sold more than 50,000 vinyl's worldwide and top the online store Beatport [20] for more than 7 weeks. In 2005 he founded Evolved Records, a record label that publishes productions from established artists that experiment with new genres, Evopro Recordings for new artists and NB Records exclusively for Allan Banford's vinyl and audiovisual productions, supported by MTV Dance and the magazine Slices Magazine edition 002-07 shared with Sven Väth, Heartthrob,!
