Andrea Lamberti (1970 - ) is an American architect and partner at Rafael Viñoly Architects[1], where she overseas strategic planning and development worldwide. She is currently also appointed to the American Institute of Architects New York Board of Directors as the Vice-President of Professional Development for the term of 2018 - 2019[2]. She was concurrently the co-chair of the New York Building Congress' Architects Leadership Council.[3] EducationLamberti graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Arts and Design. Following this, she was awarded the the C.V. Starr Fellowship for work and study in Japan for the years 1991 to 1993, where she worked at Norihiko Dan and Associates.[4] After Japan, Lamberti was admitted to the Harvard Graduate School of Design where she pursued a Masters of Architecture, completing it in 1997. In that time, she also returned to the Starr Fellowship in 1996. CareerAndrea Lamberti has had an 18 year career with Rafael Viñoly Architects, during which she has led and completed numerous architectural works. Some of her notable projects include the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center,[5] the National Institutes of Health Porter Neuroscience Research Center (Bethesda, Md.) and the Columbia University Medical Center Master Plan, the last two of which, she was engaged as the project director. In recognition of her work, she was named 40 under 40 in Building Design and Construction in 2008.[6] Owing to her expertise in the practice of architecture, Andrea Lamberti is also engaged in architectural education. Lamberti was a Guest Lecturer at City College School of Architecture in 2009 and at NYU Wagner School of Public Policy in 2008. Prior to this, she a program instructor for the Harvard Graduate School of Design's Career Discovery Program.
