Early LifeBorn on October 29nth, 1991; Andrew and his older brother Matthew raised by his loving parents Leeann and Terence Biesen in Highland, Indiana . Growing up his mother was a florist and his father worked both as a steel mill worker and as a repair specialist in HVAC. Since the age of 4, Andrew always wanted to be an actor and growing up with working parents didn't make it easy to go up to Chicago much. Instead Andrew continued to save his money and started making his own videos. By the age of 16, Andrew was hired as a freelance videographer filming weddings, church services and local tradeshows. By the time Andrew turned 18 he quickly got his first set of headshots and was out the door running. After starring as Billy Eder in an Indie Film called The Movie,[1] Andrew wasn't able to shake off the acting bug just yet and starred in Kay (singer)'s hit song My name is kay. [2] While attending Tribeca Flashpoint College in 2011, Andrew realized he wasn't an actor but still loved the business. Since he was booking roles and making his way into the casting offices, he decided to shape the marketability for other talented individuals instead. Creating a small roster of talent Andrew started to represent clients like Erik Zachary, S Joel Norman, Madison Moran and other up and coming actors. Entertainment CareerIn his early career stage Andrew couldn't tell which direction he wanted to go. In 2012 Andrew was seen as an intern at Oconnor Casting and Gray Talent Group [3]but he was also falling into the production side of things. in the summer of 2012 Andrew was hired by 495 Productions as a production assistant on Friendzone (TV series) traveling the midwest. ProducingAfter a few months on the road, Andrew was picked up by a small commercial production company called Elkhorn Entertainment to help produce low budget commercials that aired on CNN Airport Network Some of Andrew's other producing work includes music video "IDEA" ft. Chance the Rapper, ribbon cutting video for the Little Caesars Arena and other commercial projects. Talent ManagerWhile still trying to maintain strong relations with his client Erik Zachary, Andrew filmed his radio junkets for Chicago's 103.5 KISS FM. After being around the studios for a while IHeartRadio hired Andrew to film their larger events for their other affiliated stations. As Erik rose the ranks at iHeart Radio, Andrew was there every step of the way to help him break into the on camera market. After shooting celebrities like Kevin Hart, Andy Grammer, Chelsea Handler and events like Spring Awakening (festival); Erik was quickly discovered by MTV/Viacom and was picked up as one of the newest hosts of Total Request Live reboot in 2017.[4] EntrepreneurOutside of his work, Andrew is considered a serial investor. By working with people from LA and New York, Andrew quickly realized what was lacking here in Chicago. So with the money he saved Andrew started his hand in the equipment rental business. in 2014 Andrew started with a small set of 8 CP200 walkie talkies and subleased them with rental houses in the area. About a year later his set nearly tripled and also acquired other production supplies like Directors Chairs, Coolers and of course cameras. In 2017 Andrew teamed up with Camrin Petramale and Seth Orbele at Light Modifiers to create a new Grip and Electric rental house here in the Midwest. After officially opening the doors to the new Light Modifiers Rental space in May 2018, LMR quickly got on the map supplying LED lighting solutions for productions across the midwest.[5]
