The Animal Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL) Database (Animal QTLdb) is aimed at collecting all published QTL/association data for livestock animals, including cattle, chicken, pigs, horses, sheep, catfish, and rainbow trout. The works on the database is part of a bioinformatics research activities at the Iowa State University (ISU) since 2003. The curated data has been steadily increasing over the past 16 years owing to contributions from many registered curators as well as research staff at the ISU The database has been actively used. As of December 28, 2018, the database has been cited over 1,730 times.[1] References 1. ^Google Scholar
