She is known for her role of Sita Parrish in Quantico and Benazir Bhutto in the play Shaheed: The Dream and Death of Benazir Bhutto. CareerKhaja plays the role of Sita Parrish, mother of the protagonist Alex Parrish on ABC’s thriller drama, Quantico.[1][2] She also starred in an off-Broadway play Shaheed: The Dream and Death of Benazir Bhutto.[3] Khaja garnered recognition for her portrayal of Benazir Bhutto in the play as the role earned her a LA Weekly nomination. She wrote and produced the play herself.[4][5] Khaja’s other notable television roles include Stitchers,[6] True Blood,[7] Bent, Weeds, The Newsroom,[8] Silicon Valley, S.W.A.T, Criminal Minds, Madam Secretary, For the People, Lethal Weapon, The Good Place; theatre roles include Natalya in Three Days in a Country,[9] Stuff Happens, Palace of the End, [10] and film credits include Yes Man and Post Grad. Personal LifeKhaja was born in Alameda County, California and taught high school in Compton, California before making her acting debut in 1999. She has been married to Chris Rossi since 2003.
