Anna Moskalets

(5 October 1992, Romny (Sumy Region). Contemporary Ukrainian artist)

Biography

Anna Moskalets was born on 5 October 1992 in the settlement of Romny (Sumy Region, Ukraine) to a family of a driver and paramedic. Till 14, she lived in a small village of Avramenkovo comprising 15 houses.

Her interest to creative art emerged for the first time in her early childhood when she created a series of drawings featuring cats with human bodies. Absence of entertainment facilities, beauty of the surrounding countryside and rural way of life (her parents possessed a big household) turned her children's hobby into real addiction. However, it was impossible for her to become a professional artist taking into consideration the absence of an art school nearby.

Anna Moskalets’ higher education is not related to art. However, she was lucky to join the VM Art Studio lead by Tetyana Malinovska and Artem Volokitin where she had a chance to unlock her creative potential.

Education

  • 1999 – 2007 – Dibrova School (Romny, Ukraine)

Art

In 2014, Anna Moskalets joins the VM Art Studio lead by Tetyana Malinovska and Artem Volokitin. Anna unleashes her creative potential mastering professional skills and developing her own artistic style – realism and hyperrealism.

Most of Anna’s works embody a feminine vision of real-world events and situations where every detail has a meaning. Regardless of the style, her paintings are full of profound symbolism and emotions.
