History

In 2015 it acquired 7 properties. The company closed on the acquisition of the 156-room Hampton by Hilton in the Las Olas area of downtown Ft. Lauderdale, FL, on June 23, 2015, for a purchase price of approximately $23 million. Effective June 29, 2015, it acquired a 110-room Hampton by Hilton in Cypress, CA, for approximately $20 million. It also acquired a new 170-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Burbank, CA, effective July 13, 2015, for a purchase price of approximately $60 million.[1]

It also acquired Courtyard by Marriott in Burbank, CA for a purchase price of $54 million. After a short time they also acquired Courtyard by Marriott in San Diego, CA for $56 million and Residence Inn by Marriott in Syracuse, NY for a reported $42 million. [2][3][4]

In 2016 it acquired Home2 Suites by Hilton in Atlanta, GA, a 128-room property for a purchase price of $24.6 million. [5]

In 2017 it acquired several properties. It announced that it had purchased a 124-room Courtyard by Marriott in Fort Worth, TX for a purchase price of $18 million. [6] A few months after it acquired the dual-branden Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites by Hilton. For a purchase price of approximately $38.4 million. [7] A month after this purchase they announced that it acquired the 179-room Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Downtown/Waterfront and the 136-room Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City Murray. The purchase price for the Portaland property was approximately $55.8 million and the purchase price for the Salt Lake property was approximately $25.5 million. [8] It also acquired a Home2 Suites by Hilton a 135-room property in Anchorage for a price of approximately $24 million. [9]

In 2018 the company made several purchases. It acquired 2 hotels in February, a 119-room Hampton by Hilton in Atlanta-Downtown and the 144-room Hampton by Hilton in Memphis-Beale Street for a combined purchase price of $63 million. [10] In May it acquired a 210-room Hampton by Hilton in Phoenix Downtown for a purchase price of approximately $44 million. [11] After a month of its last purchase it acquired a 132-room Hampton by Hilton in Atlanta for a purchase price of approximately $29.5 million. [12] In the last month of 2018 it acquired a 127-room Hyatt Place in Jacksonville Airport for a purchase price of approximately $15.4 million. [13]
