Aravind V ^[1] is an Indian Journalist and Television producer hails from Kerala. He is also the author, editor, and publisher of the book named 'Pipum Parippuvadayum Paranjathu' Currently works as the Senior News Editor of Malayalam Television channel Twentyfour News since March 2016. And he is the produce a program for Twentyfour News named 'Utharam'.

Early life and Career

Aravind began his media career in 1997. He started his visual media career with NTV, a Malayalam production house founded by Mr Leen B Jesmas. Later, he became the Senior Producer and program head with NTV, Thiruvananthapuram. He was been a part of many popular current affairs programs on the mini screen like ‘Kannadi’ aired in Asianet Channel. ^[2], ’Jalakam’,’Aniyara’, Saakshi, Vicharana etc.

He was born on March 5, 1975, at Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. He is the son of late PG Velayudhan Nair and VV Shanthamma. Aravind married and has a son. Aravind earned a degree in law (LL.B.) a Masters in Business Law (MBL) from the University of Kerala and a post-graduate degree in Criminology (LL.M) from Mahatma Gandhi University. His desire for a career led him to take a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the Press Club of Thiruvananthapuram.

Recognition and awards

In 2017, he won Indywood professional excellence award for his contributions to the media field.^[3] ^[4]
