It will be the sequel to the upcoming 2021 Avatar 3. It will star Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana, among others from the original cast, reprising their roles. The screenplay is written by James Cameron and Shane Salerno. The film will be released on December 20, 2024 by 20th Century Fox and will be followed by a sequel, Avatar 5. The film's working title, which the filmmaker confirmed may become the official name of the movie, is "Avatar: The Tulkun Rider".[2] Cast
