| 释义 | Nor Azam bin Karap or most people known him as Azam Karap was born in 31 October 1985 in Hospital Tengku Fauziah, Kangar, Perlis. He is married and have three kids. He started his education in Sekolah Kebangsaan Kuala Perlis until Standard 6 and finish his Secondary School at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kuala Perlis. He then continue his study at Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM) and started working with MISC Sdn Bhd as an officer on LNG Fleet until 2010. He then started working with Alam Maritim Sdn Bhd from 2010 until he have to leave his job to serve the people of Kuala Perlis after winning the General Election on 9th May 2018. He started to show his in interest in politic since he was small since his late father Karap bin Yob is actively involve in politic. Azam then started to actively involve with politic during the 13th General Election when he help the candidate for Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Amin Ahmad who is now the current Member of Parliment for Kangar. During the 14th Malaysia General Election in 2018 he was elected to represent Parti Keadilan Rakyat (currently The Government of Malaysia under Pakatan Harapan) and won the seat for Kuala Perlis. He is also elected as The State Youth Chief (AMK) for Parti Keadilan Rakyat in 2019.
