A B-29 from the 54th Strategic Reconnaissance Squadron exploded 150 miles North of Guam 26 Feb 1952. Of the 10 crew members aboard there were 4 survivors: Capt Michael Judge, 2nd Lt Edward Erickson, Sgt Kenneth Johnson and Pfc James Deesk. They were able to bail out and were rescued after floating several days in a lifeboat dropped to them from a B-29 from the l1th Air Rescue Squadron.
