The plot centers around the Cuyahoga High School marching band, the Marching Beavers, and their struggle to find funding while only having nine band members. Productions Original Production The musical premiered in 2010 at Goodspeed Musicals, at the Goodspeed Opera House on May 13, 2010.[1] It starred Jared Gertner as Elliot.
