Barbados Open Water Festival is an annual open water swimming event hosted in Barbados. The event was first hosted in 2013 and attracts swimmers of all ages and abilities (from recreational to elite) from all over the world. The Festival is a five day affair with three days of practice social swims and two days of races - 1.5K, 3.3K, 5K and 10K races. There is also a charity fun swim benefiting the Variety Club Children's Charity. The races are professionally timed and all finishers receive finisher medals.
