Bonwell Kadyankena Rodgers (born 1991, in Blantyre, Malawi) also known as Kadyankena, is a Malawian author writing in the English and Chichewa languages. He is also a short-story writer, poet, translator and proofreader who translated Chinua Achebe's Arrow of God into Chichewa under the title Chilango cha Mulungu; Ngugi's Weep not Child under the title Usalire Mwanawe; John Steinbeck's The Pearl under the title Ngale; Sophocles's King Oedipus into Sewero la Mfumu Edipa and many more. He also composed anthologies of poems and short stories. Kadyankena is the writer of three language related books and a compiler of five collections of poems (see Bibliography).
