He is the founder of Clown Media Productions and the creator of the first all African American college sitcom, What's Good.

Early Life

Bricen was born in Lancaster, PA to parents Tiffany Richer and Ryan Standish. Bricen's father who was in and out of jail, struggling with addictions, wasn't present in his childhood. Bricen and his mother struggled with money, and were either homeless or living at the YWCA in Lancaster City for most of Bricen's childhood. Bricen's mother was a huge influence on him, and her childhood stories have inspired him to tell his own stories.

 

Around the age of 17 was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression to which his father also struggles with.{{cn}}

Education

At an early age Bricen was identified as a gifted student, and his elementary school advised him to entirely skip middle school in order to accommodate his educational needs.

Bricen graduated from Warwick High School (Pennsylvania) in 2017, and currently attends Boston University studying Film & Television.

Career

Bricen has been a photographer for The Daily Free Press, a post production intern at Boston Digital Productions, and a producer in a developmental BUTV10 television show, What's Good.
