词条 Draft:Bull’s Head Saloon
释义

Bull’s Head Saloon was a saloon created in 1871 by Phil Coe and Ben Thompson in the town of Ablinene. The saloon gave both Phil Coe and Ben Thomson until the ”Wild” Bill Hickok(Marshall at the time) saw the bull with an erect penis(as a form of advertisement) plastered outside of there establishment. Hickok ordered it to be removed as it was infuriating Hickok. He then hired someone to wash it over which angered Coe so much that he planned to shoot Hickok. He missed both shots and Hickok fired back seriously wounding him. His deputy then came and was accidentally fatally shot by Hickok in an accident that would weigh on Hickok the rest of his life. The other owner Ben Thompson never involved himself with Hickok and soon left Ablinene.
