释义 |
Camp Ponacka is an all boys overnight camp in Northern Ontario, Canada that was created in 1947. Specifically, it is located on Lake Baptiste, near the town of Bancroft and very close to Algonquin Park. At this camp, boys from the ages of 8 to 15 will learn essential survival skills, such as how to build a fire and build a shelter. There are many other activities such as sailing, rock climbing, horseback riding, among others. The owners of the camp, Don and Anne Bocking, and their daughter Laura, believe strongly in the benefit of time away from busy city lives, and especially without technology.
