Zacapu (Place of Stones), is a city and surrounding municipality in the Nahuatzen mountains^[1] of Michoacán, Mexico. It is located at {{coord|19|49|N|101|48|W|}}. The municipality has an area of {{convert|455.96|km2|abbr=on}}. Geographic features in Zacapu include the Cerro del Tecolote mountain range.

Demographics

The 2010 Mexican census indicated that the city had a population of 52,806 and the municipality a population of 73,455.^[2]
