Cedar Wright(born March 16, 1975).[1] is an American Filmmaker and Professional rock climber. He attended Humboldt State University and received a BA in english. He has won several awards for his films[2] and has also pioneered many first ascents in Yosemite as well as on each of the 7 continents[3]. Many of these films combine some of the most technical rock climbing in the world with successfully filming the subjects as they complete first ascents and first ascent free solos, most notably- Alex Honnold[4] at El Sendero Luminoso[5].
