Early LifeBorn August 16th, 1999, Chapo is from Belleville, Illinos. He was first introduced to music as his mother would play him songs and sing along with him to teach him words. Chapo was introduced to the Hip-hop and Rap scene when his older cousins would blast music loudly at night to where he couldn't sleep. Growing up he listened to artists such as Eminem, Lil Wayne, Akon, Brighteyes, The Killers and more. He knew from an early age that he needed to be a craftsman and got his begin making music by recording and remixing tunes on his cellphone. He started taking music seriously when famous artist Nelly co signed him and invited him to record at his studio located in St. Louis. CareerSince recording with major artist Nelly, everyone knew him as Chapo or the kid who met Nelly at school. Also he grew enormously and around the city just before dropping out of Collinsville Highschool to pursue his musical career. Chapo has made achieved online fame by posting his new music consistently on Twitter and Instagram. He has released a couple of happy uptone melodic tracks which caught attention of major labels and artist. Since his melodic profession journey, he has made associations with rap hotshots from Chief Keef to Famous Dex. ChapoBanz dropped hit song titled "Ever Since.[1]" ft. Pluto which gained 241K in a 2 weeks hitting SoundClouds new hot charts, that also led to famous artist co signing that song such as Lil Uzi Vert, Post Malone, Waka Flocka, Xxxtentacion, Slim Jimmy, Chief Keef, Lil Durk and more. From gaining so much attention from just one song he also had Rich The Kid reach out and released a song titled "Dat Trap Talk[2]". Chapo has been dominating the underground rap game, he was just featured on IMDB [3]and interviewed on The Rapfest[4] With his latest single release featured on Hot New Hip Hop [5], Chapobanz teases his latest single "Tokyo" off is upcoming EP releasing in 2018.
