}} Charles B. Parkhill (YEAR–YEAR) was a Justice of the Florida Supreme Court from 1905 to 1912. Charles Breckenridge Parkhill (Hillsborough) [served 6 years, 7 months] {{quote|Served May 25, 1905 – January 1912 as Justice [age 44]b. Tallahassee, Florida, June 22, 1859 d. May 13, 1933, Houston, Texas.[1]}} {{quote|In 1905 Justice Carter resigned from the court and Charles B. Parkhill was appointed in his place. Justice Parkhill was born in Leon County in 1859, and, like Justice Whitfield, studied law at the University of Virginia. He served as a state senator, county attorney, county solicitor, and circuit judge before his supreme court appointment. By the end of Justice Parkhill's term, the legislature had reduced the court's membership from six justices to five, effective upon the occurrence of a vacancy on the court. Thus, when Justice Parkhill resigned at the end of his term in 1911, he was not replaced.[2]}}References1. ^Erik Robinson, "Florida Supreme Court Justices: List of Life Dates", Florida Supreme Court Historical Society (June 2010). {{s-start}}{{s-off}}{{succession box2. ^Joseph A.
