1580-1649 born Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye. Located in Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye Gironde Aquitaine. HistoryThe castle remained in the Bavolier family until 1782. The successive owners brought a lot of change which included the culture of the Bordeaux wine[3]. There was a production of 400 barrels of wine a year at a time, ensures Félix Veuille[4], on an area of 200 hectares. " Barthélémy de Bavolier half sister Catherine de Bavolier[5] whom married François de PICHON[6] Council to the King in his great council, deceased January 1648 - Hôtel de Pichon[7], Bordeaux (33). Their son Bernard de PICHON-LONGUEVILLE[8] married Anne Daffis[9] Baroness of Longueville. The Chateau is now privately owned. It is not currently a wine producing estate, however the history remains.
