Cherry Ann Mejia is a Womens FIDE Master (Chess) ^[1] from Manila, Philippines. Her outstanding performance in the age-group chess championships (Gold and Silver in Standard and Blitz, respectively) held in Hue Vietnam in June of 2009 earned her the official commendation from the Philippines Senate. ^[2]. Since then she has numerous wins in Association of Southeast Asian Nations chess tournaments.^[3]^[4]
