| 释义 | Chmcl Str8jckt was formed in 2017 by Kevin Snell and Mike Cairoli in the genre of Wax Trax-era industrial rock. The Northern New Jersey duo originally played together in an industrial punk band, Point One Molar, from 1988 - 1991. After a 27 year hiatus, Kevin and Mike reconnected and began writing songs in late 2016. The self-titled 8-song debut was released on July 4th, 2017 and has received numerous positive reviews from international magazines and online music websites. To round out the live shows, Ian Omega and Scott Luckman were recruited to fill out percussion and keyboards/backing vocals. To date, Chmcl Str8jckt has played with other alternative artists such as My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, Orgy and Christian Death. In early 2018, the band released RMX, a collection of 17 remixes of songs from the first album all programmed by international artists such as Leaether Strip and Adoration Destroyed. As of January 2019, the band is in the studio recording their next CD, Wrtchd Thngs, with legendary keyboardist, John Bechdel of Ministry, Killing Joke, Prong, False Icons and Fear Factory. |
