chocoTacoJake Throop (born September 22, 1988)[1], better known as his username chocoTaco, is a Twitch[2] and YouTube[3] video game streamer from the United States of America. He is best known for playing PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Apex Legends and Rainbow Siege Six. He was part of Team SoloMid, an esports organization in the United States of America, currently he is a member for Reid's Money Team.[4] Life Before StreamingJake Throop worked as an educator in Chicago, helping kids build and engineer from LEGO bricks.[5] He thought it a dream as a kid to get a job playing video games and now his dream can come true. He said, "At the end of the year—January, 2018—I’m gonna be playing video games for a living. Like, I feel like that’s every little kids’ dream. When I was a kid and beat games on the Sega Genesis or N64, they’d tell you the game testers at the end credits. I wanted to be that guy, although I’m sure those guys didn’t get paid much."[6] |
