Christopher Andrew Morris (born February 27, 1994) is a political operative in Michigan, formerly serving as the Michigan Field Director for Donald Trump's presidential campaign in 2016, as well as a delegate for President Trump at the RNC Convention.[1] He oversaw the field program for the Donald Trump presidential campaign in Michigan during the 2016 United States presidential election in which President-Elect Donald Trump beat out Hillary Clinton by 10,704 votes, the closest election in Michigan history. It was also the first time that Michigan voted for a Republican nominee since 1988, when it voted for George H. W. Bush.[2] Early LifeChristopher Morris was born on Sunday, February 27, 1994 in Anchorage, Alaska in Providence Alaska Medical Center. He and his family moved to Washington (state) on his 7th birthday in 2001. He would move 15 times in his life before finally settling in Houston Texas, where he moved to in the summer of 2018. Political CareerChristopher Morris got started in politics by volunteering for the 2016 Donald Trump Presidential Campaign, (officially known as Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.) in early February. Serving unofficially as the Field Coordinator in Grand Rapids, Morris assisted the campaign with both field and IT needs. Once Donald Trump clinched the Republican nomination, Morris was selected as an at-large Trump delegate for the 2016 Republican National Convention which took place in Cleveland, from July 18 to July 21.[3] Professional CareerChristopher Morris has a background in IT, graduating from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Information Systems. He is the Founder and President of 616 Consulting, which specializes in IT Consulting in the Grand Rapids metropolitan area (Area code 616 is the area code of Grand Rapids, Michigan and the surrounding areas). Before joining the Trump Campaign for the United States Presidential Election, Christopher also worked for a local Grand Rapids software development company as a System administrator. Personal LifeMorris is one of six children, five of which live in Houston, along with both of his parents. Christopher is also an uncle, with his niece turning four years old this past September. He is huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan, mainly football and basketball, which he admits caused some difficulty while living in Michigan.
