Early lifeMorrison was born in 1966. She grew up in Chichester, and attended Chichester High School For Girls. CareerMorrison obtained her medical degree in 1990 from Leicester Medical School, achieving merit in pathology and psychiatry. From 1990 to 1994, she worked as a junior doctor at Queen Alexandra Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital in Portsmouth, with attachments in general surgery, general medicine, accident and emergency, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, otolaryngology and ophthalmology. Her postgraduate qualifications include DRCOG (Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists), DCH (Diploma in Child Health) and MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, 1995).[2] In 1995, she completed her GP trainee year, which was spent in Gosport and Havant, Hampshire. She then became a general practitioner at an NHS practice in Havant Health Centre, where she still works. In April 2015, she took on the additional role of medical consultant to MedExpress,[3] a London-based online doctor pharmacy service, and their sister company, Dermatica, which markets skin products.
