Registered users of the service are able to create a new topic of discussion by using a token or to search for an existing topic and enter a conversation as the "listener". Tokens are required to create a topic and are earned by participating as a listener to an existing topic and rating the experience. Participating as a listener is required for another user to be heard, thus leading to the tagline, "Listen and Be Heard".
