It was presented to the University of Christiania (currently Oslo) in 1887. He was honoured with the Medal of St. Olav in recognition. The collection has 278 numbered specimens. The most remarkable pieces of the collection are a parcially mounted skeleton of a Lestodon armatus, an almost complete skull of Toxodon platensis Owen, and a specimen of the very rare glyptodont Uruguayurus authochthonus.[2] BiographyMøller was born in Oslo, Norway around 1834 and married a Danish woman, Christine Elida Berg. Together they had eighteen children and the couple eventually moved to Uruguay, where they lived for several years in La Paz, Canelones. Møller and Berg were painted by famous artist Juan Manuel Blanes, and the oil painting can be found in the Museo Romántico de Montevideo, Uruguay. He was the grandfather of famous Uruguayan sculptor and artist Federico Möller de Berg.
