| 释义 | Danny Georges Karam or Danny “DK” Karam was an Australian organised crime figure and violent standover drug dealer in Sydney’s Kings Cross during the 1990s and was a former militia soldier that fought in the Lebanese Civil War. In 1996, he formed a crew known as “DK’s Boys” selling cocaine on the street with himself as boss. Karam owned his own gym and made profit selling steroids, and was a well-known Heroin and Cocaine addict. Karam became hated and widely disliked, feared by many in the cross for his extremely violent behaviour, often involving himself in dangerous rivalry’s against other Underworld figures and survived attempts on his life before, but Karam would also become targeted by his own crew and in 1998 he was shot and killed outside his Surry Hills residence by his lieutenant, Michael Kanaan or “Doc” and four other associates. Karam was shot 16 times in the head and chest as he sat in his vehicle and was pronounced dead. He left behind a wife and daughter. Karam was portrayed by actor Dan Mor in the Australian crime drama series The Golden Mile in 2010. |
