}}David Thomas Snelbaker (August 6, 1804–1867) was the mayor of Cincinnati from 1853 to 1855.[1]

Born in Philadelphia 1804 and moved to Cincinnati in 1833. While in Cincinnati he partnered with Alexander Dalzell within the cooperage business.[2] He is mostly known for his inept skill as mayor during the Bedini Riot of December 1853 and the Election Day Riot between Know Nothings and the German population in April of 1855.
