Atle Antonsen and Johan Golden, under the pseudonyms Attila and Junghanz, are known members. Their first album was released in 1998, and four singles and two albums have been released since. After a longer break several concerts were held in 2008, after which a longer tour was held in 2009 to promote the album Das War Das. BackgroundDDRs music is largely humor based. The band states that its objective is to promote Norwegian understanding of East Germany's cultural uniqueness. This is mainly done by making German covers of Norwegian songs. Members
