Originally released on 28th April 2017 under the successful independent record label Ninety9Lives, and supported by large YouTube names such as Jordan Maron[2] under his channel Maron Music[3], which collectively has been viewed more than 10,000,000 times across creator content. In addition to support from YouTube celebrities, he attracted the attention of BBC Introducing[4] who began giving the song spot plays, and later was added to the playlist of BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra[5]. On the 22nd December, "Running Wild" was titled in the Ninety9Lives Best of 2017 list, placing 4th overall.[6] Running Wild charted at Number 2 in Botswana's official iTunes Top 100 songs during the week beginning 19th March 2018. The song remained at Number 2 for the period of that week and later ceased charting. [7] During October 2017, Decimal 5 unveiled a new song 'Paris' which features vocals from Mann (rapper) which again was given the 'absolute banger' accolade from Nick Grimshaw on The Radio 1 Breakfast show.
