Delhi Institute of Technology & Management (DITM) is a reputed college in Delhi NCR for professional education in the fields of Technology & Management. It is located on NH-1 Delhi-Karnal GT Road at Gannaur District Sonipat. The institute is duly approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana. It is affiliated to DCR University of Science & Technology, Murthal (Sonipat) and run B.Tech, M.Tech, BBA, MBA and Engineering Diploma programmes. All programmes are focused on providing a specific domain capability to students that allows them to have a meaningful career in industry or academics. However, since the college is affiliated to DCR University of science & technology, we strictly adhere to the curricula designed and prescribed by it.

For the session of 2018-2019 Delhi Institute of Technology and Management (DITM) college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

The Institute has blossomed under the inspiring guidance of Dr. Sanjay Nijhawan. DITM college was founded by Dr. Sanjay Nijhawan in 2007 for providing quality and meaningful education in the fields of technology and management. DITM has established itself as a center of excellence. Every year, around 1500 students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds pursue their education in DITM College.

DITM College was established by Dr. Sanjay Nijhawan in the year 2007 with the aim of providing better education environment to students.

DITM offers different courses in engineering, business studies and computer education. Given below are the courses offered:

DITM campus spread in 15-acres of land, presents a spectacle of harmony in architectural and natural beauty. A temple of Maa Saraswati placed inside campus. The campus has wide & even roads and a large parking area. There is a special emphasis on water conservation and all rainwater is harvested for irrigating the plants. The academic block houses fully air conditioned laboratories and lecture theatres of different departments. A large seminar hall with all modern amenities and equipment for sound and projection is located on the ground floor for common use. Workshop has been kept in a separate block at a reasonable distance from the main building so as to keep the noise away. Students’ residential area has hostels for boys & girls, a mess and a cafeteria. The campus also offers amenities like a dispensary, a gymnasium hall, some multipurpose rooms for reading and indoor games, a shopping mart, an ATM and playing fields. In the second phase of construction, we propose to bring up an impressive administrative block, a hi-tech Auditorium and a general activity area for students.

DITM has fairly large library and it has approximately 32,000 books in stock. In addition to the course specific books, there are some prestigious titles in the reference section. Non-print study material in the form of CD’s and an online access to a number of national and international journals is also available.

Admission to various academic programmes is done in consonance with the provisions and guidelines laid down by the competent authority of Govt. of Haryana.

The award titled Edupreneurs 2013 was conferred to Dr. Nijhawan earlier this Month by Mr Sushil Kumar Singh, Member Parliament & Chairman Edupreneurs Awards 2013 Jury, for his Valuable Contributions in Engineering Education in India. Dr. Nijhawan’s contributions to the education field have always been appreciated and he has been awarded on numerous times by various organizations in the past also. He being a consummate professional and a well-known educationalist has bestowed the institution i.e. Delhi Institute of Technology & Management, with his impeccable leadership skills. Dr. Sanjay Nijhawan, Chairman DITM received  'Indian Leadership Award for Education Excellence - 2010', given by Indian Economic Development and Research Association (IEDRA) from The Governor of Pondicherry His Excellency Dr. Iqbal Singh for Outstanding Contribution to National Devevlopment.

In a short period since its inception, the institute has taken big leaps forward in proving its credentials as a centre of excellence. It is a proud recipient of ‘The Times Research Award for Excellence in Education -2010.
