HistoryDeputy was founded in Australia in 2008 by Steve Shelley & Ashik Ahmed[2]. FundingOn January 18, 2017, Deputy announced that it had received $25m in Series A financing from Openview. The funding is the company's first from an institutional investor.[3] ProductDeputy's features include schedule management, payroll management, time-clock, communication facilitation tools, as well as employee reporting[4].
