Social Activist Dibyajyoti Saikia was born at Lakhimpur district of Assam. He started his social work since 1999 . He is involved in various social organisations from his college days. He is the founder Secretary General of social organisation "Brothers". In 2007 he was the founder of Samanwita Yuva Tirtha , youth wing of Assam Sattra Mahashabha, the parent organisation Assam Sattra Mahashabha conpleted one hundred one year (101 year). He is the National member of Anuvrat Mahasamitri and National Human Rights Council of India. Activist Dibyajyoti Saikia fight and work for people of Assam like Flood affected, terror attack , communal clauses victims and mostly work for superstition and witch hunting victims. He is the crusader of against witch hunting and passed a bill in Assam assembly on 15th August 2015 (PPP ACT 2015). He already saved the life of witch Victim at least seventy peoples. He handled the case for two hundred thirty people of witch Victims. He rescued many people of flood affected people with the support of concern authority. Activist Saikia is a peace worker. AwardsFor his peace and communal harmony works , he got many Awards like Maulana Azad National Award, Babu jagjivan Ram National Award, APJ Abdul Kalam National Award, Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Memorial Peace Award, Assam Gaurav state Award, Sant Baba Garge National and more then 25 state and National awards from different corner of the country. One man peace mission title from New Indian express and The Sunday Standard News paper .
