Players control a Tank in a map similar to that of Graph paper. The goal is to gain as much Experience points from destroying shapes and Enemy tanks. At first players control a basic tank, But they get chances to upgrade their tank, and its statistics. GameplayThe Objective of Diep.io is to gain Experience points from destroying shapes and Enemy tanks around the entire map by shooting them with their weapons while also trying not to die from enemy fire, and excessive crashing.[1] The browser version currently holds five game modes: FFA (Free-For-All), Survival (Battle Royale), Teams (2 and 4), Domination (controlling 4 points on the map), Tag (destroying enemies that join your team when they respawn), Maze (FFA, but with large walls randomly around the map) and Sandbox (single-player zone to test out the various tank models in the game, and to invite friends to a single room)[2] Mobile VersionThe game play of the mobile version is similar to the web version, except that a stick appears on the left of the screen to control your movement and one on the right to control the direction the player is shooting in, standing in place of the WASD keys and mouse support on the browser version.
