Doctor Hail® S.p.A. is an Italian company operating as a service provider with headquarters in the metropolitan city of Turin. It is present in Italy under the "Dottor Grandine®" brand and in other European countries with the "Doctor Hail®", "Docteur Grêle®" and "Doktor Hagel®" brands. The company manages the problems related to hail damages to car bodies. HistoryDoctor Hail® was founded in 2013 as a Limited Liability Company with headquarters in Collegno, Italy. In the same year, it began collaborating with the Axalta Coating Systems Group[1] under a partnership agreement. In 2015 The company inaugurated its Rome headquarters and moved his main and operational headquarters to the Mirafiori Office Center in the Metropolitan city of Turin. Also in 2015 it signed a partnership agreement with Saint Gobain® - Glassdrive®. In 2017 it converted itself into a Joint-stock company. ActivitiesDoctor Hail® employs technicians specialized in the PDR technique, which consists in the repair of car bodies through the use of tools such as suction cups and levers. PDR specialists intervene on the sheet metal to restore the specific hail-damaged car body part to the original line, with the aim of not affecting the paint and other parts of the vehicle.
